Seeking full-time state certified pharmacy tech- retail/medication history to join our inpatient team in Florence, SC Full-Time! Primarily 2nd shift/rotating weekends. State retirement and benefits!

Job Description: Working under the direct supervision of the pharmacist(s), the pharmacy technician assists in all pharmacy operations' functions related to: (1) preparation & distribution of all doses of medication; (2) maintenance of drug inventories (e.g., re-stocking automated dispensing cabinets throughout the hospital, drug packaging/re-packaging, extemporaneous compounding, code cart re-stock, etc); and, (3) completion of patients' records pertaining to drug therapy (aminoglycoside protocol orders, drug charges & credits etc)

Education: High School Diploma required; college-level courses desirable but not required; successful completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program required.

Experience: (Preferred) two or more years of experience retail pharmacy/med history.

Licensures/Certifications: Pharmacy Technician Registration for South Carolina.
