Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This position requires a 36-hour night shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working every other weekend and holiday, encompassing a Monday to Sunday schedule.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide patient care based on established standards, protocols, and policies. This role involves fostering each patient's dignity and self-regard, collaborating for effective discharge planning, and prioritizing patient care effectively.

Deliver patient care consistent with standards of practice and organizational policies.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and actively participate in multi-disciplinary rounds.

Provide thorough documentation of patient data and therapeutic interventions.

Teach patients and families based on identified learning needs and readiness to learn.

Safely administer medications and intravenous therapy in accordance with physician's orders.

Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions, including abnormal lab results.

Utilize pain management techniques and devices for effective pain relief.

Support assessment and teaching of surgical patients and their families.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Current RN License in Massachusetts.

ACLS certification upon hire or active BLS certification with ACLS within 60 days.

A minimum of 1 year of med-surg experience is preferred; telemetry experience is also preferred.
