Associate Immigration Attorney

Role Description The Associate Immigration Attorney is a full-time, on-site role based in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area. The attorney will manage a caseload involving family-based and employment-based immigration matters, removal defense, and other immigration petitions and applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients, assessing legal options, preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications, drafting legal briefs and motions, and appearing before immigration courts and government agencies as needed. The role also involves conducting legal research, staying current on changes in immigration law and policy, maintaining detailed case files, and collaborating with other attorneys and staff to provide thorough, timely client service. The Associate will be expected to communicate clearly with clients from diverse backgrounds, manage deadlines, and contribute to the firm's overall efficiency and professional standards.


Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Immigration Law and experience handling various Immigration Issues.
• Familiarity with Visas and related immigration processes, including preparation and submission of applications.
• Ability to analyze complex Legal Issues and provide clear, practical guidance to clients on immigration matters.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to at least one state bar.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, including experience drafting motions, briefs, and client correspondence.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to client service and ability to work respectfully with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Prior experience in immigration practice, internships, or clerkships in related fields is highly beneficial.
