We support our stores with 22 distribution centers and 19 manufacturing plants.POSITION PURPOSE:To complete a variety of specialized duties that support the functional operations related to Vehicle Maintenance DepartmentKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:FuelingTire Repair & Light mechanicalKNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:Ability to drive tractors and fuel tankers – CDL not requiredAbility to service vehicles (perform a PM & b PM)Available for any shiftPrior tire repair experienceAdherence, knowledge and understanding of Safe work practices.Education Level:High School Diploma or GEDSkills and Experiences:Reading, writing, math and communication skills at a proficient level.Ability to follow verbal or written instruction.Keyboarding proficiencyComputer skills: Word, Access, Powerpoint, Excel.Be detail oriented, ability to organized, and strong analytical skills.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: <10%PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:Manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance to work both at ground level and high placesAbility to stand, walk and work in close quarter, prone position for lengthy periods occasionally.Exposure to potential hazards exist with respect to equipment, work areas, tools, welding equipment, presses and other power equipment.Working conditions consist of a non-temperature-controlled environment and exposure to outside elements while performing outdoor tasks on a daily basis.DisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work performed by the employees assigned to this job and are not the official job description for the position.
