Lead Infant Teacher

Job Requirements Must be at least 21 years old Must have at least 1 year experience as a lead teacher in a licensed childcare facility. Must have an ECE Credentials and or CDA Must be a have a satisfactory Background according to the requirements of BFTS. Must be able to obtain or provide certification records of CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety Training. Will be required to obtain background and fingerprinting check Description Of Duties Creates developmentally appropriate lesson plans. Reads to children and teaches them painting, drawing, crafts and songs. Maintains a safe play environment. Dresses children and changes diapers. Observes and monitors children’s play activities. Disciplines children and recommends or initiates other measures to control behavior Communicates with children’s parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues. Sanitizes toys and play equipment; maintains full compliance with center infectious disease control Performs general administrative tasks, such as taking attendance and making phone calls. Organizes Student Anecdotal and Observation Notes Prepares and conducts child assessments Manages classroom staff Implements center curriculum Attends required training Helps children with Development The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
