Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | 48 Hours Guaranteed | Projected Start: December 14, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 23-bed Orthopedic/Trauma unit with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5
• Care for post-operative patients including knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, as well as trauma patients and neuro overflow
• Operate and monitor specialty equipment including traction, fixators, and cooling equipment
• Document patient care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Conduct bedside shift reports and perform hourly rounding in accordance with patient experience requirements
• Float to other Medical Surgical level-of-care units (General Med Surg, Nephrology, Neuro/Trauma) as needed per floating policy; contract labor is first to float

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License (must be valid for the state of Missouri)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• Ability to work 3 weekend shifts per schedule period
• Compliance with required dress code: navy scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Orthopedic nursing experience strongly preferred
• Telemetry (Tele) experience
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or familiarity
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or Comprehensive Stroke Center environment
