We are proud to be recognized by commission on cancer. The unit is state of art with beautiful large private room. Joining the Inpatient Oncology team gives new nurses the opportunity to train and gain deep knowledge of the care for the oncology patient. The nurse-to-patient ratio for 3 South is 1:4. 3 South has a free-floating charge nurse on both Day & Night shifts to serve as a resource and support. Additionally, 5 - 7 shifts per week there is a resource nurse. Our interdisciplinary team made of up nursing, physicians, pharmacy as well as several other auxiliary services, collaborates and works closely together daily to be able to provide evidence based and quality driven care. Special Equipment : - #Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO - Travelers are only guaranteed up to 40 hours of RTO per 13-week contract. Please confirm RTO requests are accurate at time of submission. No additional RTO requests will be approved after acceptance. If traveler has any vacation plans during the period between Sign Date and Start Date, this must be communicated to the Client Delivery Manager at the time of submission to ensure a realistic start date may be requested Experience - Please refer to the job description for required experience. Valid State License - Will accept pending licenses, but must have license in-hand the Wednesday before start date. However, RRT travelers must have license in-hand at time of submission Mile Radius Rule - select units have a 50 mile travel restriction, any units not listed do not have a mile radius rule.
