Director of Finance & Operations

Director of Finance & Operations
The Director of Finance & Operations leads nonprofit financial strategy, federal grant compliance, forecasting, and operational infrastructure to support mission-driven growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive financial strategy, multi-year planning, and organizational forecasting.
- Lead federal grants compliance, reporting, and stewardship.
- Build and strengthen financial systems, controls, and scalable processes.
- Oversee operations, HR administration, vendor management, and IT infrastructure.
- Partner with CEO and Board to guide financial and strategic priorities.
- Enhance financial transparency and reporting for leadership.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of nonprofit finance experience or experience with federal grant-funded organizations.
- Hands-on federal grants administration and compliance experience.
- Background in nonprofit, healthcare, research, or academic environments preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with strong execution capability.
- CPA or equivalent credential preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and nonprofit financial systems preferred.
