Job Title Dental Hygienist E11 Location State of Michigan – MDOC Correctional Facility (secure perimeter) Role Overview Provide dental prophylaxis, calculus removal, and related oral hygiene to prisoners at the assigned Correctional Facility and other MDOC dental clinics. Assist in day‑to‑day clinic operations and provide chairside assistance to dentists. This is a test‑designated position (DART) with direct contact with inmates for over 50 % of the work time. Responsibilities Provide dental prophylaxis and calculus removal. Assist with the operation of the dental clinic, including chairside assistance of dentists. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to infection control protocols. Participate in non‑custody new employee training (NCNET) and additional online training as required. Education and Experience Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene. Two (2) years of experience as a Dental Hygienist. Licensure Registered Dental Hygienist license issued by the Michigan Board of Dentistry.
