Freight Analyst

Agilent seeks a Freight Analyst for its logistics team in Memphis, TN or Cedar Creek, TX to drive cost-effective transportation solutions through data analysis, rate benchmarking, and optimization initiatives. The role requires advanced analytical capabilities and cross-functional collaboration with operations and logistics partners.
Responsibilities
- Perform quantitative analysis on freight and transportation datasets to identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities
- Analyze and benchmark carrier freight rates across multiple shipping modes and develop financial models for sourcing decisions
- Manage freight budgets, forecast spend, and monitor transportation KPIs and carrier performance
- Maintain SAP transportation routes and master data; build dashboards and automated reporting using Power BI and Excel
- Lead cross-functional transportation optimization projects and recommend data-driven process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, or related analytical discipline
- 4+ years of transportation analytics, freight analysis, or supply chain analytics experience
- Advanced Excel proficiency including complex formulas, data modeling, and pivot tables
- Experience with SAP transportation, logistics, or finance modules
- Proven ability to develop data-backed business cases and deliver measurable logistics savings
- Strong written and verbal communication for presenting analysis to multiple stakeholder levels
Compensation: $80,800-$126,250/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits
