Quick Facts Location: Dayton, OH Start Date: 11/01/2026 End Date: Feb 28, 2027 (or April 30, 2027, option) Shift: 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM, Monday through Friday Hours/Week: 35 hours Employment Type: Locum Certifications: Ohio Medical License, DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CAQH registration Experience: Pediatric anesthesia and hospital-based practice preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $390/hour Pay Package: Discussed upon application Benefits: Competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel and other reimbursements as applicable, robust referral bonus program, 24/7 support team What You’ll Do Deliver anesthesia care to neonatal and pediatric patients in a hospital-based operating environment Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs within the care team Manage approximately 50-60 surgical cases per day Ensure patient safety throughout anesthesia procedures Participate in preoperative assessments and post-anesthesia recovery Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and standards Contribute to a multidisciplinary team in a Level I Trauma Center What You Need Ohio medical license and DEA registration Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS Prior pediatric anesthesia experience preferred Ability to supervise CRNAs and work in a team setting Strong clinical judgment and communication skills About the Assignment Join a collegial, hospital-based team at Dayton Children's, a trusted and innovative pediatric care facility. This role involves providing anesthesia in a busy operating room setting, supervising CRNAs, and caring for a diverse patient demographic from neonatal to adult. The facility handles approximately 50-60 surgeries daily, offering a fast-paced, supportive environment dedicated to quality patient care.
