Job Overview

• Role: Machine Operator/Factory Worker (Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
• Location: Jacksonville, FL 32206

• Experience Required: Entry-level (at least 1+ year in manufacturing/industrial environment experience is required).

Key Responsibilities

• General: Follow safety/quality guidelines, monitor equipment, follow documented processes, and serve customer needs.

• Carbon Area Tasks: Bag/sample products, manage feed to furnace, switch spent carbon tanks, calibrate pH probes, run filter press, and operate wastewater treatment.

• Regen Area Tasks: Sort bottles by resin/size, load/unload trucks (using a forklift), transport plant materials, and evacuate bottles.

Qualifications & Skills

• Required: Basic math skills, ability to read/follow instructions, clear communication, site-specific safety training (and 40-hour HAZWOPER for Carbon area).

• Preferred: Manufacturing/plant experience, forklift operation, and basic computer literacy.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Physical Tasks: Constant standing/sitting/seeing ; frequent walking/typing; occasional lifting/carrying up to 30 lbs, climbing stairs, bending, pushing/pulling.

• Environment: Indoor/outdoor work with exposure to extreme temperatures (0&degree;F to 120&degree;F), high noise levels (requiring hearing protection), dust, dirt, and concrete surfaces.
