This role involves working on a busy, Magnet-certified cardiac stepdown unit at a large academic medical center. Candidates are required to bring their active license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to work in a specialized environment providing advanced cardiac care.

• Unit description: Lerner Tower 5 is a 30-bed adult medical-cardiology unit focusing on advanced cardiac stepdown care, including complex heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, interventional cardiology, and dysrhythmias. The interdisciplinary team manages patients requiring heart transplants, implantable devices such as ventricular assist devices (VADs), pacemakers, and defibrillators, as well as procedures like cardiac catheterization, ablation, and chemical cardioversion.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, appropriate certifications relevant to cardiac and telemetry care, minimum of 0 years of clinical experience in a related setting, Ohio licensure or eligibility, and ability to work nights.
• Additional Information: This is a travel RN position in a specialized cardiac unit requiring proficient cardiac and telemetry skills. Candidates should be prepared to adhere to facility protocols and demonstrate competence in advanced cardiac patient management.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
