Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract. The position requires a strong skill set in patient care and monitoring in a telemetry setting. Ideal candidates will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring close observation and assessment.

Shift Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: Days (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and interpret telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient information clearly and accurately in electronic medical records.
• Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS and SAMA certification preferred.
• Must have a permanent address greater than 50 miles from the facility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a telemetry or step-down unit is preferred.
