Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced line cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate served. From classic pub fare to creative specials, our menu offers a range of culinary opportunities for creativity and skill development. This position presents a chance to work alongside a dedicated team, learn new techniques, and potentially advance your career.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure proper portioning, plating, and presentation of dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to expedite orders and meet service deadlines
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Uphold our commitment to quality and consistency in every dish served
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
