Accounting Analyst III

Job Title: Accounting Analyst III Type of Engagement 3-month contract (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available) Work Location Onsite position in Richardson, TX Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst III to perform accounting tasks in a shared services environment. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate transactions, providing assurance that our accounting practices adhere to financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures, and performing general ledger entries and account reconciliations. Essential Job Responsibilities Prepare, review, Bank and Cash reconciliations and post journal entries Works daily with AP to resolve cash transactions Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurately stated Onboarding accounting functions from various Business Units to Financial Shared Services Support internal and external audit requests Work in a team environment while supporting business units throughout the organization Maintain existing internal controls while looking for continuous improvement opportunities Develop, analyze, and present reports to management Manage ongoing projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned Indirectly supervise the work efforts of lower level or junior staff members Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance 3-5 years of experience Hands‑on experience in financial accounting & reporting, preferably Cash Accounting MS suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) Ability to work independently and in teams Strong accounting knowledge, fact‑finding skills, and ability to provide solutions Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Demonstrate good judgment, attention to detail and good problem‑solving skills Manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines through good organization and prioritization Ability to work closely with personnel from various departments and all levels of management Strong critical reasoning skills, independent judgment, and objectivity Big Bonus Points if you Have CPA SAP ERP experience Working knowledge of Manufacturing Hyperion ESSBASE Job Requisition # 40245 #LI-Onsite #LI-WC1 Pay Range A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $45.00 - $50.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
