Power Platform Developer

A midstream oil & gas customer in Houston is looking for a Senior Power Platform Developer with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform to lead the development of custom business applications, automated workflows, and data visualizations. This individual will primarily build solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, while also supporting solution architecture, integrations, governance, and stakeholder engagement. They will work cross-functionally throughout the full solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through deployment and support. Responsibilities include establishing Power Platform standards and best practices, designing integrations with APIs, GraphQL, SQL Server, Azure services, and .NET applications, identifying automation opportunities, ensuring compliance with DLP policies, change management procedures, and SOX controls, and providing technical leadership and mentorship to other developers.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of application development or systems analysis experience
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience using Power Platform tools
• Proven expertise with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
• Experience designing enterprise solutions and integrations
• Strong requirements gathering and solution design skills
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, web services, and SQL Server
• Experience with Azure DevOps


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Power BI, Power Pages, and advanced Dataverse design
• Working knowledge of .NET Core, Web APIs, and modern front-end frameworks (React and Angular)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience mentoring or leading team members
• Working knowledge of UiPath or other RPA tools
