The Landing Student Living is hiring an Assistant General Manager to join our robust and hard-working team!

Summary

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing property operations, with a strong focus on resident relations, collections, and administrative functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial performance, resident satisfaction, and daily team efficiency. This role is also eligible for a monthly collection bonus in addition to the base pay.

Key Responsibilities

Resident Accounts & Collections

• Manage the rent collection process, ensuring timely payments and proper follow-up on delinquencies
• Issue 5-day notices and oversee eviction processes in collaboration with legal partners
• Maintain accurate resident account records for current and former residents
• Submit delinquent accounts to collections or legal, and monitor outcomes

Resident Relations

• Serve as a primary point of contact for resident complaints, concerns, and escalated service issues
• Support resident retention efforts through proactive communication and service follow-through
• Assist with planning and staffing for move-in/move-out and renewal periods

Operational Support

• Conduct regular audits of resident files and lease documentation
• Assist the General Manager with financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll review
• Participate in after-hours emergency response rotation as needed
• Oversee maintenance follow-up and unit inspections in preparation for new residents

Team & Leasing Support

• Support General Manager with onboarding and training of leasing and maintenance team members
• Provide leasing assistance as needed, especially during peak traffic periods
• Maintain a strong presence in office operations and uphold a standard of professional service
