What you’ll do Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems supporting chemical manufacturing operations. Diagnose and repair motors, drives, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, conveyors, pumps, mixers, and automated production systems. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability, uptime, and production efficiency. Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation, control devices, and electrical components used in chemical processing operations. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings to identify and resolve equipment issues. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), hazardous energy control, and chemical handling procedures.
