Why This Role Is Different Many BIM positions focus solely on coordination. This role goes much deeper. You'll serve as Roebbelen's subject matter expert for carpentry-related scopes, helping project teams solve real construction challenges before they reach the field. You’ll influence: Rebar coordination Prefabrication strategies Layout accuracy Self-perform operations Project efficiency and quality Your models won't sit on a server. They'll drive how projects are actually built. What You'll Do Lead Carpentry Modeling Efforts Develop highly detailed BIM models for: Wood framing Metal stud framing Concrete formwork systems Reinforcing steel Embeds and anchor systems Create fabrication-level models and construction-ready deliverables Develop schedules, quantities, and detailing packages that support field execution Manage carpentry-related issues within Revizto workflows Collaborate with Project Management, Field Operations, Preconstruction, PreFabrication, Self Perform teams, trade partners, and design professionals Identify constructability concerns before they impact production Ensure models reflect actual field means and methods Develop panelization and prefabrication strategies Partner with fabrication and self-perform teams Improve installation efficiency through model-driven planning Help expand Roebbelen's use of advanced construction technology solutions Connect Models to Field Execution Validate model accuracy through field visits Incorporate feedback from superintendents and craft professionals Improve standards based on lessons learned from active projects Mentor & Develop Others Serve as a technical resource for BIM Modelers and junior team members Help establish and improve BIM standards Share best practices across project teams Contribute to the continued growth of construction technology capabilities across the organization What We're Looking For You may be an ideal fit if you have: 5+ years of BIM, VDC, detailing, or construction technology experience Strong knowledge of: Wood framing systems Metal stud framing Concrete formwork Reinforcing steel detailing Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Experience with Revizto coordination workflows Strong understanding of construction documents and specifications Ability to translate field requirements into buildable digital solutions Bonus Points For Self-perform carpentry experience Concrete formwork or rebar detailing experience Hands-on framing experience Prefabrication or panelized construction experience Advanced Revit family development Experience generating material takeoffs and fabrication schedules Deep understanding of field sequencing and logistics Experience working directly with superintendents and craft teams What Success Looks Like In this role, you'll: Become the company's trusted expert for carpentry modeling Improve coordination quality and constructability across projects Drive successful prefabrication and layout workflows Reduce field conflicts and rework Help project teams build faster, safer, and more efficiently Mentor and support the development of future BIM professionals Why Roebbelen?
