This company is currently seeking Licensed Psychologists who have a passion for providing the highest quality care in an institutional setting. They employ over 100 psychologists and other mental health professionals who provide clinical services, assessment, consultation, program evaluation and staff development in the fast‑paced environment of partnership corrections. The Licensed Psychologist plans and implements all professional psychological service programs of a non‑medical nature in the facility and coordinates the activities of personnel engaged in providing psychological services to inmates/residents. Role Responsibilities The successful candidate should be able to perform the following functions at a pace and level consistent with the job requirements: Conduct psychological screenings and comprehensive assessments using available records and structured clinical interviews with inmates. Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary mental health team (psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, and other clinicians) to integrate treatment planning and ensure continuity of care. Develop, implement, monitor, and modify individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluation of needs and level of functioning. Provide evidence‑based individual and group interventions, demonstrating sound knowledge of counseling theories and therapeutic techniques. Make regular rounds in segregation and other confined housing areas to assess inmate adjustment, mental status, and treatment needs. Deliver timely crisis assessments and interventions, including de‑escalation and confrontation‑avoidance strategies for inmates in acute distress. Consult with psychiatry, nursing, medical, educational, chaplain, and security staff to gather information about behavioral escalations and changes in mental health status. Plan and implement psychological service programs and coordinate the activities of staff providing psychological services within the facility. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and confidentiality requirements. This is an onsite position, NOT remote. Must‑Haves Graduate of an accredited college or university with a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology. Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of Kansas (or the state where services will be provided). Minimum of two years of clinical experience, including at least one year in a comparable position or institutional setting. Nice‑To‑Haves Corrections or detention experience.
