Pediatric Pulmonologist Department: PCMGM-MAIN | Pulmonology Location: Phoenix Shift: Mon-Fri, Days, 8am-5pm Category: Physician/Div Chief/Med Dir Employee Type: Full-Time Position Summary Posting Note: Phoenix Children’s Division of Pulmonology is recruiting a full‑time Pediatric Pulmonologist to join a division of 9 faculty and 4 advanced practice providers. The candidate will provide direct patient care on inpatient and outpatient settings, subspecialty consultations, and follow‑ups. The role includes participation in patient‑focused, division‑centric, and hospital‑wide initiatives, clinical research, and education of medical students and residents. The Pulmonology Division features several specialized programs such as Pediatric Comprehensive Sleep Medicine, a state‑accredited Cystic Fibrosis Center, a comprehensive Tracheotomy and Airway program, a mobile asthma clinic, and multidisciplinary teams in Cocci and Aerodigestive programs. Qualifications MD or DO degree BC Pediatrics BE/BC Pediatric Pulmonology Ability to obtain an Arizona medical license Position Duties Patient Care Services Provide direct patient care on inpatient and outpatient bases, including subspecialty consultations, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, urgent/emergent care, and adherence to patient satisfaction, safety, and evidence‑based medicine standards. Divisional Responsibilities Achieve annual physician goals; support medical education by supervising trainees, conducting teaching rounds, lectures, and conferences; contribute to research initiatives; assist programmatic growth and satellite efforts. Other Activities Act as liaison to the professional community per the Division Chief; conduct teaching rounds or conferences outside Phoenix Children’s when appropriate; represent the organization in medical and business communities; communicate effectively by phone, computer, or other devices; perform after‑hours or night calls as required; maintain regular scheduled hours.
