Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to work at a premier manufacturing client in Wilson, NC. Sound like something you’re interested in? Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $30–$38/hr, based on experienceShift: Day shifts only: 8 hours/day (your choice of 7–4 or 8–5)Why you should apply to be Purchasing Assistant:

What’s a typical day as Purchasing Assistant? You’ll be:

• Entering and validating purchase requests (PO entry)
• Setting up new suppliers and maintaining accurate records
• Tracking orders, receiving goods, matching invoices, and closing out purchase orders
• Providing support to internal buyers and answering questions
• Assisting with supplier onboarding and resolving delivery issues
• Collaborating with an energetic PMO project team to keep operations running smoothly

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have previous experience in purchasing, even if from a different industry (must have)
• Are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy helping others (must have)
• Have familiarity with, or are eager to learn, systems like SAP, Ariba, or eMarketplace (preferred)
• Are comfortable communicating with suppliers and solving problems together (must have)
• Have at least a high school diploma and are ready to contribute immediately (must have)
