Registered Nurse- Emergency Department

Job Description The Emergency Department at Saint Luke's South Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The best place to give care.” Shift Details Full Time Nights (7p-7a). In‑hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and supervising other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures. Responsibilities Collaborate with healthcare professionals to treat complex, acute cases. Provide timely, coordinated patient care. Delegate tasks and supervise staff. Coordinate patient care plans and consult with team members. Maintain proficiency in nursing process and adherence to policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
