Senior Accountant, General Ledger
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support the General Ledger Accounting function, the full-time Senior Accountant, General Ledger will manage prepaid expense recording, ensure compliance with GAAP principles, and collaborate across teams to enhance accounting efficiencies in a remote environment. Key responsibilities: Record and reconcile prepaid expenses, ensuring accurate amortization schedules Prepare and analyze assigned balance sheet reconciliations and manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes Identify and implement process improvements for accounting workflows while maintaining compliance with GAAP standards Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field 4 - 6 years of experience in general ledger accounting or corporate accounting Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate month-end close processes Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems, particularly NetSuite Analytical experience with the ability to communicate issues and propose solutions
