Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Surgical Technician specialized in Labor and Delivery to support perioperative care within the maternity unit. The ideal candidate will assist during labor, delivery, and recovery processes, ensuring patient safety and efficient clinical operations.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist surgical teams during labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for surgical cases.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical needs promptly.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures and patient interactions accurately.
  
  
• 
  Support patient comfort and education throughout the perioperative process.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technician within Labor and Delivery.
  
  
• 
  Must hold AHA BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Preferred credentials include NBSTA or NCCT certification.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts, including nights.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical skills in obstetric surgical support.
  
  
• 
  Must be able to work two major holidays and one minor holiday as specified.
