Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Minimum of 1 year outpatient physical therapy experience preferred, including experience with therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional return-to-activity programs.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation in accordance with state and payer guidelines.
• Ability to evaluate patients, develop and modify individualized treatment plans, and write measurable goals focused on discharge and functional outcomes.
• Experience supervising or mentoring students and directing discipline-specific therapy services preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule, Monday through Friday.
• Duration: 13-week assignment.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other clinics as operational needs dictate.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, document per clinic policy, and provide patient, family, and student education.
