Speech-Language Pathologist

Provide speech-language pathology services in elementary and middle schools in Live Oak, Texas, supporting students with communication disorders and collaborating with district staff to achieve IEP goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide onsite speech-language pathology services at assigned elementary and middle schools.
2. Serve approximately 80 students at Converse Elementary, collaborating with district staff to support IEP goals.
3. Serve approximately 65 students at Olympia Elementary, delivering evidence-based therapy and documentation.
4. Serve approximately 30 students at Woodlake Hills Middle School, maintaining accurate records and progress monitoring.
5. Supervise and support SLP-assistants as required by school schedule.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent) from an accredited program.
• Valid SLP license; ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to obtain/maintain as required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with school-based services preferred.
• Ability to supervise SLP-assistants (up to 2) at assigned schools.
• Willingness to work onsite at elementary and middle schools and collaborate with educators and support staff.
• Availability for 37.5 hours per week, days schedule.
• Willingness to travel onsite for coverage as required.
• Background check and district compliance readiness.
