Summary Our client is seeking a hands‑on Division Controller to oversee full‑scope accounting operations across a multi‑entity logistics organization. This role plays a key part in driving financial visibility, operational efficiency, and strategic decision support for leadership. You’ll act as the financial backbone of the division, partnering closely with executives to influence decisions across multiple business lines. Benefits & Extras Long‑standing, stable organization with over a century of industry presence High visibility role working directly with executive leadership Strong ownership of month‑end close and financial reporting processes Opportunity to influence operational efficiency and process improvements Collaborative, close‑knit accounting and operations teams Downtown Mobile office with established, professional environment Exposure to multi‑location, complex operational accounting Compensation $75,000 – $120,000 What You’ll Be Doing Lead month‑end close and prepare full financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Deliver monthly financial reporting and performance analysis to leadership Support budgeting and forecasting tied to annual operational planning Oversee internal controls, compliance, and audit preparation activities Review AP disbursements and support billing/cash application processes Partner with operations on job costing, pricing, and efficiency initiatives Coordinate with banking partners and support covenant compliance What You’ll Need to be Considered Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of Accounting experience Strong financial close and reporting experience Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs) Experience presenting financial results to leadership Exposure to multi‑entity environments CPA preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
