Position Summary: Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and optimal stock and inventory levels. Implements budgeting and forecasting, monitors sales performance, and assesses economic trends and community needs. Customer Service: Models and enforces proper Customer/Member service approaches, ensuring complaints and issues are resolved within company guidelines and standards. Community Outreach & Compliance: Oversees community outreach programs, encourages associates to serve as good community members, and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations. Analyzes and interprets reports, implements asset protection and safety controls, and provides direction on strategic initiatives. Supervision & Development: Provides supervision, develops opportunities for associates, and conducts hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition. Fosters a belonging mindset and a high‑performing team culture that embraces diversity and inclusion. Vision Center Operations: Provides quality eyewear by consulting with and educating members/customers, selecting products based on needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining confidential information. Performs minor frame repair and maintains optical equipment. Open Door Policy & Communication: Upholds the Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing company policies, and suggesting resolution. Coordinates job‑related activities, builds relationships with stakeholders, and communicates goals and objectives. Drives continuous improvements and adopts new technologies and skills to support others during change. Hourly Wage and Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $22.50 - $32.50. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the mandatory minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes performance‑based bonuses and potential Regional Pay Zone adjustments. Minimum Qualifications Completion of 2 or more years of college, OR 1 year of retail experience with 1 year of supervisory experience, OR 2 years of general work experience with 1 year of optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and rules. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising associates.
