What you’ll do: Teach Art and / or Digital Design Classes:Teach weeklymuseum quality artand / or digital art classes for adults of all levels and using a wide variety of media Ensure Student Success:Ensure student success in the studio and lab by actively engaging with students and teachers to observe, document and communicate their progress and opportunities for growth Implement One River Methodology Curriculum:Implement the One River Method through each class effectively. All teachers have the opportunity to contribute to lesson plan development and are paid extra for doing so Run a best-in-class studio:Clean and organize studio spaces and student artwork and / or oversee digital lab maintenance Student Exhibitions:Direct your students to produce high quality work for their exhibitions in January and June. Keep track of their progress to ensure the exhibition work is completed on time for each show. Requirements: BA/BS in Visual Art, Art Education or Design (Master’s a plus)orequivalent professional experience 3+ years experience teaching visual arts for adults. Digital art skills are a plus. Track record of high-quality instruction, classroom management, and student progress.
