A unique opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist experienced in outpatient infusion within a hospital inpatient setting. This contract position offers a chance to contribute to patient care by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in an outpatient infusion environment.

Location:

• Aurora, Colorado

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Contract Duration:

• Starts August 31
• 13-week assignment

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders specific to outpatient infusion therapies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication regimens for patients receiving infusion treatments.
• Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients and caregivers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols within the infusion setting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all pharmaceutical interventions and patient communications.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings.
• Specialized knowledge in outpatient infusion practices and medication management.
• Strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy operations and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
