The Law Firm of Victoria is a divorce and family law firm dedicated to representing only women.

We are looking for a self motivated recent high school graduate wanting to learn a career as a Legal Assistant.

5 days a week for a total of 40 hours a week

Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to lawyers and enhance office effectiveness. Handle communication with clients Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence Processing and scanning incoming and outgoing mail Set up conferences and answer phone calls Maintain diary system

Skills not necessary - we will train Proven working experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary Familiarity with legal procedures and protocols, and court system Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office Computer literacy E-filing and general filing Working knowledge of case management software Excellent secretarial and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple activities and work under pressure
