At Protiviti, Technology & Cybersecurity Risk is about: Helping clients identify, assess, and mitigate technology and cyber risks to protect patient data, maintain compliance, and support secure operations Business and technology resilience: strengthening detection, response, and recovery, and downtime operation capabilities against evolving threats Innovation: leveraging emerging technologies, automation, and analytics to enhance security and risk management Staying current: developing expertise in evolving healthcare industry changes including cyber threats, emerging technologies, and healthcare regulations Managers in Technology and Cybersecurity work with clients to assess risk, provide advisory services, and deliver solutions across a variety of technology and cyber-focused areas, including: Cybersecurity & Cyber Risk Management Major Technology Projects and Enterprise Applications  Identity & Access Management (IAM) Cloud Management of Architecture & Security (AWS, Azure, GCP) Data Protection & Privacy (HIPAA, PHI security) Security Operations & Threat Detection Third-Party & Vendor Risk Management Business Resilience, Disaster Recovery & Incident Response Emerging Technology Risk (AI, automation, and digital platforms) What Will Help You Be Successful:  You enjoy discussing technology and cybersecurity trends, and healthcare industry developments while mentoring team members and contributing to their growth You effectively build and manage client relationships, delivering solutions that address complex cyber and business challenges You excel at identifying opportunities to integrate technology solutions and capabilities to enhance client outcomes You are driven to continuously learn and stay current on the evolving healthcare business and threats, technologies, and regulatory expectations You contribute to business development efforts, supporting proposals and go-to-market strategies for cybersecurity services You seek opportunities to mentor and develop junior team members and contribute to training initiatives You are passionate about project management, team leadership, and delivering high-quality client outcomes in a fast-paced environment Do Your Talents Include the Following?  A solid foundation of healthcare industry knowledge and a deep understanding of key internal controls related to IT, cybersecurity, and other healthcare business functions like revenue cycle, compliance, privacy, operational, clinical, and/or financial processes.  A strong understanding of technology risk management, cybersecurity principles, and control frameworks within healthcare environments Experience assessing technology risks and enhancing controls across security, identity, infrastructure, applications, and data environments Knowledge of healthcare-specific cybersecurity risks, including ransomware, medical device security, EHR vulnerabilities, and third-party ecosystem risk Specific focus on areas of technology included: cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, analytics, electronic medical records (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.), enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc.), disaster recovery, systems development methodologies etc.  Understanding commonly used information technology frameworks / regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, HITRUST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL, etc.  Experience with emerging technologies such as AI and automation, with a focus on governance, security, and risk implications. Ability to translate technology risks and technical topics into clear, actionable insights for executive stakeholders Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and provide risk-based recommendations Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentations and documentation Experience working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities, and adapting to change Experience leading teams, managing project delivery, and contributing to client account growth Ability to build relationships, develop thought leadership, and contribute to internal and external initiatives Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:  5+ years working in cyber security, technology risk, consulting, or related field, either in professional services or healthcare industry.   Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business-Related Field) required.   Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.    Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and/or RPA Solutions a plus.    Professional certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or similar preferred.     Our Hybrid Workplace   Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local or out-of-state travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.      Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.$129,000.00 - $205,000.00Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.12%The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity.
