Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Audiology (required)
• Valid California Audiologist License
• School-based experience is highly desirable, though dedicated professionals new to schools will also be considered
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated empathy and a collaborative approach in multidisciplinary settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive hearing screenings and assessments for students
• Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) or 504 accommodations for students with hearing needs
• Provide direct audiological intervention and counseling as needed
• Maintain accurate case documentation in compliance with confidentiality and state regulations
• Offer guidance on classroom acoustics, assistive listening devices, and prevention of hearing loss
• Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
