Job Description

Position Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Welder/Fitter with a strong background in structural steel fabrication . This role involves working directly from blueprints to fit and weld assemblies accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols .
Fit, align, and weld fabricated components to meet specifications and tolerances.
Safely operate standard fabrication and welding equipment (MIG, stick, plasma, torch, etc.).
Measure, inspect, and verify final assemblies for accuracy.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols .
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience as a welder/fitter in a structural steel environment .
Ability to read and work directly from blueprints .
Experience with layout, fitting, and welding structural components.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Reliable attendance and commitment to quality workmanship.
