About the Position

Job Title: ICU Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a high acuity ICU License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS from AHA, PALS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: Minimum 2 years in a high acuity ICU. Ability to titrate complex IV drips, including vasopressors. Description: This position is for an ICU nurse in a medical-surgical trauma unit. The unit typically has a patient ratio of 1:2, but may vary based on acuity and staffing. Nurses will work with a variety of equipment including IV pumps, chest tubes, and monitoring systems. Familiarity with EMR systems is essential. The role requires flexibility, dependability, strong teamwork, and a focus on patient-centered care. Nurses will care for complex patients, including medical, surgical, trauma, and stroke cases. Scrub colors must be black, and only approved attire is permitted.
