Technical Writer

Job Description
• Ensure the consistency and quality of technical documentation
• Implement and promote technical writing standards and technical documentation creation process
• Support the creation of technical documentation in collaboration with the engineering team, including datasheets, application notes, and manuals
• Review and rewrite the material to be clear and concise, making sure it can be easily understood by our customers

Requirement:

Qualifications
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in a similar role
• Expert user of authoring and drawing software (mainly FrameMaker and Visio)
• Experience with HTML, XML, Component CMS
• Experience with ticket tracking systems such as Jira or Workfront
• Experience with reading and understanding electronic specifications (analog, digital, RF, DSP) and software specifications
• Experience with content/document management tools, such as SharePoint and Subversion
• A clear and concise writing style
• An eye for detail, and a thorough and methodical approach
• The ability to absorb information quickly
• The ability to manage competing demands, yet deliver to deadlines

Compensation
Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience, as well as the benefits package you select.
