As a History Program Assistant , you’ll design and lead engaging history programs for campers and families, give museum tours, support collections and archives, and help preserve historic buildings and artifacts. You’ll work side-by-side with the Museum Director in a hands-on, mission-driven environment where education, community, and adventure come together.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and lead interactive history programs and museum tours

• Welcome and engage multigenerational guests with meaningful storytelling

• Support museum collections, archives, and databases

• Help maintain historic buildings and grounds

• Collaborate on special events and educational initiatives

• Oversee Homestead operations when the Director is away

What We’re Looking For:

• Working toward or completed degree in History, Education, Social Studies, or related field

• Passion for American history and public education

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Comfortable working outdoors and on weekends/holidays

• Team-oriented, independent, and mission-driven
