Job Summary:
At Harmony Care at Beaumont, we are seeking a compassionate and experienced Activity Director to lead our recreational therapy programs and create a engaging environment for our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and coordinating activities that promote socialization, physical exercise, and mental stimulation.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and implement recreational programs for residents, including concerts, art classes, exercise programs, and community outings
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and meet the unique needs of each resident
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to enhance our program offerings and promote resident engagement
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal resident experience
• Supervise and train activity assistants and volunteers to ensure high-quality care and attention to detail
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including resident participation, program evaluations, and scheduling

Requirements:

• Licensed Activity Director

• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and volunteers

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, with occasional bending and standing

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
