Receiving

We are currently hiring an experienced Receiving professional to oversee receiving operations and ensure incoming materials are received safely, accurately, and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse and inventory experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to resolve receiving issues independently.

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay rate: $19.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience

Duties:

• Manage daily receiving operations, including dock appointments, unloading, staging, and receiving priorities.

• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, and Bills of Lading.

• Check quantities, part numbers, lot numbers, product condition, and documentation for accuracy.

• Receive and enter materials into the MRPeasy system while maintaining accurate inventory records.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve shortages, overages, damaged materials, incorrect products, and other receiving discrepancies.

• Coordinate with Purchasing, Inventory Control, Quality Control, Production, Shipping, Transportation, carriers, and management to resolve issues.

• Manage damaged, rejected, quarantined, and non-conforming materials according to company procedures.

• Coordinate receiving personnel and forklift operators to maintain safe and efficient operations.

• Identify recurring receiving issues and recommend process improvements.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient receiving area.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of warehouse, receiving, inventory, logistics, or related experience.

• Strong knowledge of receiving procedures, inventory control, and warehouse operations.

• Experience receiving raw materials, finished goods, pallets, and packaging materials.

• Experience with freight carriers, delivery appointments, BOLs, and receiving paperwork.

• Experience using MRPeasy or a similar inventory management system.

• Strong understanding of inventory accuracy, lot control, batch numbers, expiration dates, and product identification.

• Ability to identify and resolve receiving discrepancies with minimal supervision.

• Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment.

• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, productivity, safety, and organization.
