Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

At a Glance $18.00–$24.00/hour depending on experience and certification Full‑time and part‑time opportunities available Monday to Friday schedule No weekends required Health insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off, paid holidays, and paid training Professional development assistance and referral program Paid time between client sessions Responsibilities Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Implement behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect and record data on client progress during sessions Interact with clients and caregivers throughout sessions and create engaging, fun, and motivating learning environments Collaborate daily with your clinical team Work actively on your feet, on the floor, and engage with children throughout the day; lift up to 50 lbs as needed Qualifications RBT certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days (paid training provided) Experience working with children in structured or caregiving settings (ABA, childcare, education, or related fields) Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Reliable transportation Ability to think on your feet, stay engaged, and create a positive, interactive environment for children Schedule and Pay Consistent schedule, stable hours—designed to reduce cancellations and gaps in your day No weekends; Monday to Friday schedule Full‑time roles: 8:00 am–3:30 pm or 11:00 am–6:30 pm; part‑time roles: flexible scheduling based on availability and clinic needs Services delivered across clinic, home, and community settings with strong clinic‑based support Career Path Four‑level RBT career path with structured opportunities for growth, promotion, and increased earnings Clear progression from Behavior Technician → Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) → Senior RBT → Lead RBT Promotional opportunities reviewed twice per year based on demonstrated skill and competency growth Structured Fieldwork Program with 1:1 BCBA mentorship and up to $15,000 incentive opportunity tied to successful completion of the Fieldwork Program and BCBA readiness milestones About Us Serving children and families in North Carolina for 20+ years, we are one of the most established ABA providers in the state.
