About the Role:

Oak Park Temple is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Full-Time Receptionist & Database Manager to be the welcoming face of our community. This is a meaningful opportunity to support a vibrant congregation while keeping our operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, members, and staff in a warm and professional manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
• Maintain and update the congregation's membership database with accuracy and confidentiality
• Generate reports and pull data from the database to support staff and leadership needs
• Manage office correspondence, scheduling, and administrative support tasks
• Coordinate with staff on events, communications, and member outreach
• Ensure front office operations are organized, efficient, and welcoming

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a receptionist, administrative, or office management role
• Proficiency in database management or CRM software; data entry experience required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive member information confidentially
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy environment
• Genuine comfort and enthusiasm working within a faith-based community setting
