Travel CT Technologist

Position Overview Travel CT Technician – 13‑week assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technician to operate CT scanners, produce cross‑sectional images, and support the radiology team. Qualifications 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred qualifications : Current ARRT certification Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position Responsibilities Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissue Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety and image accuracy Set technical parameters for accurate anatomy and pathology representation Provide high‑quality images to the radiologist for interpretation Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies for patient and staff safety Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital system Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various facilities Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and proficiency in PC skills Physical and Other Requirements Physical abilities – Maintain stationary position, move equipment (50–100 lb), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal skills – Work effectively with a variety of personnel with a positive attitude and professionalism. Technical/motor skills – Fine manipulation, push/pull, and movement during procedures. Mental requirements – Handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with or without close supervision, maintain concentration on detail. Sensory – Visual acuity and effective communication.
