Position Description Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Douglasville, GA offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Compensation Weekly pay: $1350 or more (weekly guarantee $950). Solo miles pay: $0.508 per mile, with 2200 miles per week. Solo stops pay: $15.53 per stop, with 30 stops per week. Paid training. Schedule: Monday–Friday. Start time: 4:30 AM to 6:00 AM. Route and Equipment Route: SOLO to GA & Knoxville, TN (Home Daily). Tractor type: 26' straight truck. Transmission: Manual. Equipment: Lift gate, pallet jack, dolly, straps. Freight: touch – flooring material. Trucks 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance; company provides fuel at 800+ facilities nationwide. Benefits Medical, dental & vision after 30 days. 80 hours PTO in first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it). Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided. Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years. Pass a DOT physical. Pass a Ryder road test. Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position. Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past three years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last five years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last ten years. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines. Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs. Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
