Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). 36 or 48-hour weekly options available. Overtime available for hours worked beyond 48 in one week. Six weekend shifts required within a six-week period. No call required.

• 32-bed medical surgical unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios across all shifts
• Rapid response team support and comprehensive interdisciplinary services including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
• Epic charting system with 24-hour orientation provided
• First-time travelers accepted; floating to like units as needed
• 91-day travel assignment with flexible scheduling options

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending licenses accepted if obtained prior to start date)
• Minimum one year of recent medical surgical nursing experience
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Proficiency in medical surgical skills including IV management, wound care, blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, and pre/post hemodialysis care
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
