Registered Nurse (RN) - SICU

Nursing – Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, every other weekend, day/night rotation

Assignment Details: Contract length: 13 weeks, guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly

Requirements: 2-3 years of related work experience, valid CPR certification (AHA), valid ACLS certification, SICU and trauma/level 1 trauma experience required, Epic experience required

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide high-acuity nursing care to surgical patients in the SICU. Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday). All requests for time off must be presented at the time of submission. Parking may incur costs up to $43 per day.
