Pay & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (pay package discussed upon application)

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose visual conditions
• Provide guidance on eyewear, contact lenses, and ocular therapeutics
• Manage and treat ocular conditions, prescribe medications, and perform procedures as needed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain current knowledge of industry advancements and best practices
• Respond promptly to emergent cases within your scope of practice
• Participate in resident and medical student supervision as required

What You Need

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active Alabama Optometry License
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and patient care skills
