This critical access hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Associate for emergency department coverage. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality emergency care delivery. Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians, with the ability to complete emergency privileging in less than one week.

The Emergency Medicine Physician Associate will provide clinical coverage during day and night shifts at this on-site critical access hospital emergency department in New Mexico, working approximately 3 to 5 shifts per week. Shift times are structured as 12-hour increments, with options of 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Clinicians must hold an active New Mexico license and DEA registration; prescriptive authority is required for this assignment. Board certification is negotiable, and emergency privileging can be completed in under one week to facilitate an immediate start.
