Field Application Engineer

Mobileye is looking for a Field Application Engineer to support various automotive companies (OEMs) in their deployment of Mobileye products. The role requires on‑site work at customer locations. Responsibilities You will be responsible for debugging issues on base tech both at customer HiLs and vehicles. You will need to travel frequently to visit customer sites across the United States (Florida, California, Texas) and a manufacturing plant in Mexico. You will be at the customer site to support flashing software/firmware on next‑generation Mobileye Electronic Control Units. You will understand and analyze problems and provide technical solutions where applicable. You will gain firsthand experience and be part of building the most challenging and inspiring product in the automotive domain (full self‑driving cars). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent technical field from an accredited institution. A minimum of 3 years of experience as Field Application Engineer, Resident Engineer, or System Verification Engineer within the automotive industry. Deep understanding of embedded systems and debug interfaces such as JTAG, UART, and Ethernet. Experience working with external memories (eMMC, NOR, SPI). Knowledge of protocols such as TFTP, SFTP, SCP, UDS, and over‑the‑air updates. Hands‑on experience using test benches and working test vehicles. Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues on base software. Knowledge of communication buses and protocols like CAN, CAN-FD, ETH, and SOMEIP. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. Flexibility to travel on short notice to customer sites. Preferred Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of system/software/validation experience in the automotive industry, with ADAS‑related products preferred. Experience working with Vector debugging tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer. Advanced systems/software analysis and debugging skills on test benches and vehicles. Ability to identify and analyze hardware issues. Knowledge of ECU manufacturing and cybersecurity concepts related to an ECU. #J-18808-Ljbffr
